Analytics

Cross-subscription cost analysis with drill-down, history, and budgets.

Overview#

The Analytics page provides a broader view than the Dashboard — it's where you compare costs across subscriptions, drill into specific time periods, and track budgets with visual progress indicators.

Scope selection#

Use the MultiScopeSelect dropdown at the top to choose which subscriptions to analyze. You can:

✓View all subscriptions (aggregate view)
✓Select multiple subscriptions for comparison
✓Select a single subscription for detailed drill-down

The view adapts based on your selection — aggregate shows cross-subscription comparison, single shows per-service drill-down with richer detail.

All subscriptions view#

When viewing all or multiple subscriptions, you see:

✓Cost overview chart showing spend by subscription
✓Historical cost trend with year filter
✓Budget section showing relevant budgets
✓Per-subscription cost breakdown

Single subscription view#

Selecting a single subscription shows deeper analysis:

✓Service-level cost breakdown (top 10 + others)
✓Historical cost chart for that subscription
✓'Projected This Month' stat card (current month only)
✓Subscription-scoped budgets only
✓Budget reference line (dashed purple) on cost history chart

Tip

The projected cost uses a simple daily run-rate: (spend so far / days elapsed) × days in month. It appears only when viewing the current month.

Budget section#

The Budget Section appears in both views and shows active budgets relevant to your current scope selection:

All subscriptions

Shows all-scope and provider-scope budgets.

Single subscription

Shows only subscription-scoped budgets matching that subscription.

Each budget card shows a progress bar (current spend), forecast indicator, and threshold markers. Click Create Budget to add a new one.
