🛡️

Cloud Pulse security findings across all clouds, severity-ranked.
🗺️

Creating a report#
The report creation form flows top to bottom:
- Scope — select subscriptions (optional for standalone types)
- Report Type — choose one of the 12 types above
- Period + Format — time range and PDF or Excel (side by side)
- Filters — type-specific filter pills (standalone reports only)
Tip
Period options are dynamic per type. Budgets only offer "Current (Live Status)" since budget data is always real-time. Other types offer the full range: Current Month, Last Month, Last 3/6 Months, YTD, Last Year, and Custom.
Full Report sections#
The Full Report type adds three rich sections to the standard cost breakdown:
- ✓Alerts Summary — total counts, breakdowns by status/type/severity, detail table
- ✓Budget Status — exceeded/at-risk/on-track counts, detail table with spend, forecast, and breach dates
- ✓Savings & Recommendations — active recs, resolved savings, capture rate, by-category pivot table
Email delivery#
After generating a report, click the email icon on the report card to send it:
- ✓SendReportModal lets you enter recipient emails
- ✓Report is sent as an email attachment (PDF or Excel)
- ✓Email includes a 'View in App' link back to the Reports page
- ✓Requires SMTP to be configured (Settings → Email)
Tip
To deliver a report automatically, create a scheduled rule in Alerts & Notifications with a report as its content — it generates the report when due and attaches it, on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence. For recurring cost analysis, Cost Explorer saved-query schedules work too.
Aggregate reports#
Select multiple subscriptions to generate an aggregate report. The report shows a hierarchical layout: Provider → Subscription → Resource Group → Services, with totals at each level.
