Saved Searches & Alerts

Save search queries and get email notifications when new matching content appears.

After running a search, click the Save Search button above the answer. Give the saved search a name and choose a frequency:

  • Daily — checked once every 24 hours.
  • Weekly — checked once every 7 days.
  • After Every Crawl — checked every 30 minutes, ideal for compliance-critical queries.

Run Now#

Click Run Now on any saved search to see current matching results immediately. This shows all 5 retrieved sources ranked by keyword and vector similarity, with new results highlighted with a NEW badge.

Run Now vs Search
Run Now shows all 5 retrieved sources (retrieval and reranking only — no AI generation, keeping cost near zero). Search goes further: the AI reads all sources, generates an answer, and cites only the useful ones.

Delta tracking#

Each run stores the top 5 result IDs. On the next run, any result not in the previous top 5 is marked as NEW. This lets you quickly spot when new content enters the top results.

Email alerts#

When new results are detected during a scheduled check, you receive a branded email with titles, snippets, and links to the new documents. Alerts require SMTP to be configured in Settings → Email. Toggle alerts on or off per saved search.

Tip
Use "After Every Crawl" frequency for compliance-critical queries where you need to know immediately when new content appears.
